:: Archaeological park in Syracuse and its surroundings
Parco Archeologico della Neapolis: veduta aerea dell’ara di Ierone II e dell’anfiteatro romano       The most important archaeological areas open to the public, apart from those in the historic centre of Syracuse (the Temple of Apollo, the Ionic temple and the Gate of Dionysius), include the Neapolis archaeological park, Castello Eurialo, Thapsos.

Villa del Tellaro: particolare del mosaico con tigre in corsa       The area includes the archaeological sites of the south-eastern part of the province of Syracuse.
Of these, the most important are Eloro, the Roman Villa del Tellaro and Akrai.

:: Leontinoi archaeological park and surrounding archaeological areas of Lentini.
Lentini: veduta aerea del Castellaccio       The park includes the most important archaeological sites of the northern part of the province of Syracuse: Leontinoi (with its Archaeological Museum) and Megara Hyblaea (with its Antiquarium).
